Our Boat
Our tour boat is a 19
foot Carolina Skiff. This
unsinkable fiberglass boat is specially
designed to provide a safe and comfortable
trip within the shallow Mississippi
River backwaters as well as the
main-channel flow.
A 115 HP outboard
engine supplies the vessel's main power.
We also operate the twin
electric 164-pound thrust stern-mounted
motors that allow us to move quietly through
the backwaters.
Our
tour boat is outfitted with a
custom-designed canvas top that provides
protection from sun and rain. You will
be comfortably seated on specially
designed cushioned seats.
Our vessel
is outfitted with all of the required U.S. Coast Guard
equipment, including a marine band radio, and cellular phone,
and type I life jackets.
To
enrich your adventure, binoculars are available for each
passenger. Snacks and soft drinks as well as an iced
cooler for your personal carry-on refreshments are also provided
for you pleasure.
For the comfort and quality of this experience we limit our tours to six (6) persons plus crew.
