About Us
Clyde and Judy
Male launched Upper Mississippi River Adventures LLC in
the summer of 2005. The Cassville-based
Mississippi tour company was formed out of a desire to
share their Midwest Oasis with others. The Mighty
Mississippi has been their back yard over the past
years. They have raised their four, now grown,
children on the river and are eager to share this
amazing resource with you.
Captain Clyde Male is U.S. Coast Guard licensed and
certified to operate a passenger vessel on the
Mississippi river. His years of experience in
the areas of natural resource management, fisheries and
wildlife biology, predator and waterfowl research, river
resource management, and conservation law, will truly
enrich your Mississippi tour experience.
Captain Clyde will be joined by his wife, Judy, to will
ensure Midwest hospitality is enjoyed by all.
An additional pilot, Luke Ploesel, joined Upper Mississippi River Adventures LLC in 2007.
